Flowdexx is committed to maintaining a safe and trustworthy platform for both job seekers and employers. Unfortunately, recruitment fraud is a common scam, and we want to help you recognize and avoid it.
What is Recruitment Fraud?
Recruitment fraud is a sophisticated scam offering fictitious job opportunities. This type of fraud is normally done through online services such as false websites, or through unsolicited emails claiming to be from a legitimate company. The aim of the fraud is to obtain personal information or money.
How to Identify Recruitment Fraud
Recruiters and companies using the Flowdexx platform will NEVER:
- Ask you for money, fees, or payment of any kind during the hiring process. This includes fees for "training," "visas," "background checks," or "equipment."
- Request your personal financial information such as your bank account number, credit card details, or PayPal account.
- Conduct interviews exclusively through text-based messaging services like Google Hangouts, Telegram, or WhatsApp. Our platform includes integrated communication tools.
- Send you a check to deposit for "equipment" and ask you to wire a portion of it back.
- Use email addresses from free, web-based services like @gmail.com, @yahoo.com, or @hotmail.com. Communications will come from the company's official domain or through the Flowdexx platform.
What to Do If You Suspect Fraud
If you are contacted by someone you believe may not be a legitimate recruiter from a company using our platform, please do not provide any personal information. We encourage you to report suspicious activity to us immediately at: fraud-report@flowdexx.com.
Stay vigilant and protect your personal information.
